Local Author Brings Opera to the Masses in a Whole New Way!

Gale Martin, a local Lititz resident, is an expert in all things opera. She has taken her passion to a new level by
writing a fast-paced, humorous novel about the chaotic production of Don Giovanni set against the backdrop of
her home state of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Martin’s new book centers around the small town of Hankey, Pennsylvania, its struggling opera house and
the opera guild full of quirky members working to keep it afloat. Trying desperately to produce Don Giovanni,
the guild members recruit a flamboyant Argentine gaucho to play the title role. What follows next is nothing
short of madness, with the gaucho seducing any female he can reach, a resident ghost trying to make contact,
and lovers discovering each other for the first time.Don Juan in Hankey, PA by Gale Martin is available on Amazon.com,

Barnesandnoble.com, as well as on iTunes.

Find Ms.
Martin on her website at http://galemartin.me or at her opera blog at http://operatoonity.com. With a strong dose of humor, a little love and a lot of
opera, there is something for everyone in the book.

A fast, fun read with wit, charm, and can-do optimism at its heart.
